A bright sunny Sunday seen Abbey u13sB in action two days after their clash with Dromahair as they took on Benbulben u13B. Benbulben started well and were unlucky not to be 1 up early on, but as Abbey gained a foot hold Callum McCrann cut in on the left with a nice finish to put Abbey 1-0 up. In the second halfBenbulben equalised with a well connected header. But Abbey turned up the heat and Louie Fitzgerald put Abbey back in the lead. Shortly after Amir Awadin was fouled in the box with Neal Downey stepping up with a confident finish. Macsen Ediae sauntered through the Benbulben defence to lay off the ball to Henry Habede making it 4-1 for Abbey. Benbulben pulled one back with counter attack with 3 minutes remaining. With Abbey taking the 3 points and continuing unbeaten with one game remaining in their group with the lads making the away trip to Dromore Villa next Saturday.
